"4.5 Stars" is a 5 part web series about Archie as he live in the Laundry room of an Airbnb that's operating as a Psychedelic Magazine. The goal was to make a great Baltimore comedy that featured the funniest people we know.
Joey Leland Malinski is a multifaceted director, actor, and writer who hails from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After years of honing his craft in California and New York City, Joey returned home to Maryland to pursue his passion for storytelling. With a love for filmmaking and original content creation, he founded ATB Productions, a company dedicated to crafting commercials, branded content, and narrative-driven projects.
With a sharp focus on comedy and the conviction that “God is the greatest comedian, shaping life with tragedy,” Joey creates Baltimore-centric stories that blend the everyman’s experiences with the unique charm only this city can offer.
As the industry evolves toward virtual and Ai-enhanced video production, Joey has embraced these cutting-edge tools, using them to push creative boundaries and elevate storytelling to new heights.
His portfolio includes the completion of a five-part web series, 4.5 Stars, and several stand-up comedy specials spotlighting Baltimore’s unique voices. Joey’s next goal is to bring a feature-length film to life—a story about a day that takes an unexpected left turn, only to land exactly where it’s meant to be.
